The Henry W. Phillips Company began business in March of 1970, quickly establishing itself as a distributor based representative. Since the mid 1980’s we have evolved into the systems integration market. The company’s emphasis has shifted into sound, audio/visual, security, music stores as well as the engineering market.
Our Mission is to achieve great success in the low voltage marketplace by utilizing our seasoned veterans who develop long term relationships and bring comprehensive solutions to the critical decision makers involved in the sales process. These decision makers include: Engineers, Consultants, Systems integrators, Distributors, Key end users. Our influence on decision makers is based on our day to day efforts. These efforts include: face to face visits, lunch and learns, product demonstrations, product training, targeted e-mail, and attendance of local trade shows.
HWP co provides a complete low voltage solution to our customer by including audio, video, and security products. This “synergistic” approach adds value to our customer base as well as the manufacturers that we represent. Our approach creates new opportunities by offering a comprehensive solution. These solutions are not always off the shelf, and so for our manufacturers, we become their “eyes and ears” to the pulse of market trends. Our relationships with our customers allow us to excel in this area.
HWPco employs one of the largest and most experienced sales staff in the industry. We have four inside support staff, and seven outside personnel, covering six states. Our large staff not only gives us great geographic coverage, but also allows us to focus on specific vertical markets. Our sales persons have over 100 years combined experience in the industry. This experience gives us a deep understanding of our customer base and the ability to understand product application from a “hands on” point of view.
Under the leadership of David Pergantis the HWP Company has grown to a staff of ten employees made up of four customer service/sales support associates and six sales representatives. The HWP outside sales team is strategically located throughout the Southeast territory covering the following territories:
